Marine Cargo Insurance

Every vehicle exported by Rockmotion Auto Group LLC is covered by comprehensive marine cargo insurance for the full declared value of the vehicle — from the moment it leaves the US port to delivery at your destination port. This is not an optional add-on; it is included in every shipment we facilitate. Global shipping can be unpredictable. We make sure your investment is protected for the entire journey.

What Is Covered

Total loss of vehicle due to vessel sinking or grounding

Fire, explosion, or lightning damage during transit

Theft of the entire vehicle while in port or aboard vessel

Collision damage caused by the shipping carrier

Water ingress damage caused by unseaworthiness of the vessel

General average contributions and salvage charges

Jettison — cargo lost to protect the vessel in an emergency

What Is Not Covered

Pre-existing mechanical or cosmetic defects prior to shipment

Normal wear and tear during transit

Theft of contents inside the vehicle (personal items, aftermarket accessories)

Damage caused by improper loading by the Buyer's appointed agent

Losses arising from nuclear risk, war, or acts of terrorism

Delays in transit or consequential financial losses

Damage caused by customs inspection or seizure by a foreign authority

Claims Process

Notify Rockmotion Immediately

Contact us within 24 hours of delivery if damage is suspected. Do not move or repair the vehicle before a survey is conducted.

Document All Damage

Photograph every angle of the vehicle, all damage, and the container or vessel condition at the time of delivery. Date-stamp all images.

Submit a Formal Survey Request

We will arrange for an independent marine surveyor to inspect the vehicle and produce a condition report at the destination port.

Claims Processing

The surveyor's report is submitted to the insurer. Valid claims are typically settled within 30–60 business days of the completed survey.
